LOVE Cigars?… JR Cigar Tube’s Got Nathan & the Zman for Ya
Dear friends, colleagues, and enjoyers of the JR Cigar Blog… today I ask if it’s okay with you if I take this opportunity to shill for a moment? I mean, I’m not sure why I’m asking, this is my blog and I can shill to my fat little Polak dupa’s content. Well, technically I guess you don’t have to read it, but that would seriously be a mistake because I love to talk about cigars, and somehow I have a feeling just because you’re here, you must love those hand rolled little beauties yourself.
To get to the point, the incomparable Steve Nathan and I have been doing our weekly show, JR Cigar Tube with Nathan and the Zman, since May and the response has been just terrific with close to 50,000 downloads of the You Tube channel. I personally wanted to say THANKS to all of you who have watched and supported us. It personally means a lot to me… and, um, well… while Steve is asleep at his desk right now, if he was conscious, I’m sure he’d thank you, too. Now… to you guys who don’t watch our show and have never even seen the 
comedic stylings and unparalleled knowledge of the puro patriots in action, all I can say is WHAT THE HELL, MAN?! Come on, dude… you read this blog… I mean we’re pals, right? You know I’ve got mouths to feed, a daughter in college, and a tobacco habit that rivals the gross national product of most third world countries. Do I have to spell this out any clearer, amigos?
Listen, man, all I’m asking is that you give the show a try. Watch a couple short little episodes and if it doesn’t bring a smile to that Corojo encrusted face of yours, we will be simply shocked. Actually Steve will be mortified and probably placed on additional medications, but he tends take these things a bit more personal than I do. He’s the only guy I know who can legally take Zoloft from a 
Tweety Bird Pez dispenser.
The knowledge you’re gonna walk away with from the show even astounds us at times. We have covered a huge gamut of cigar-induced goodness, all with the purpose of entertaining, educating, and hopefully making you laugh you firm white ash off. We’ve covered such mind numbingly awesome subjects like, Body vs. Strength vs. Flavor and what it all means… The world of different wrappers (although I was a bit confused and thought it was about rappers – big difference I found out.)… Teaching your lady how to smoke a cigar… Bargain Cigars that 
taste great but don’t break the wallet… Cigar Terminology, the Magnificent Maduro… How to age your cigars, Humidors and proper storage… How cigars are made from seed to box, and an entire slew of leaf related esoteric stogieness that you couldn’t possible sleep another night without knowing. And we even have our JR Mailbag show where we actually answer your most intimate tobacco related inquiries – we cannot be stumped people, so don’t even try. Just ask us what you wanna know, and we shall deliver the smoke filled goods!
Then there’s the plethora of cigar brands that we carry, as we give you the low down on their flavor profiles, countries or origins, sizes and shapes, yada, yada, yada. I’m proud to say that in only a few short months we have turned many a 
viewer onto new smokes that they never tried, never heard of, or just had misconceptions about.
