Whats NEW? I’ll tell ya WHAT’S NEW!…
Somehow, after four whole years of writing this blog, I think you guys get the idea that I love cigars. I love the tastes, the textures, the aromas, and the relaxing act of shmokin’ with my buddies (otherwise commonly known as herfing.) Walking through a cigar store ignites my senses, shopping online drives me wacky, and plopping down either my hard earned cash or a chunk of security coded plastic gives me a rush because I know that the horde of hand rolled happiness I just purchased is coming home to papa. Listen, I’m well aware that I have issues, but I’m going to make a little side bet here that you do, 
too.
I’d have to say that one of the things that jacks me up the most is the arrival of new cigars at my place of premium tobacco purchase. And nothing is getting me giddier than our very own site, JR CIGARS.com, as there is an absolute plethora of new brands, new blends, and smiling, happy faces… especially mine! I’m tired of hearing from people who are NOT in the know, spouting un-truths that JR ONLY carries the old guard brands. There is in fact so much new stuff here in JR-land that your head would spin trying to take count. I’m even having trouble keeping up with it all, as it’s my own personal rule that I’ve gotta try EVERYTHING and ANYTHING new that we get in stock!
First off, I’m psyched as all hell that Alec Bradley is now on the team! The Tempus and the American Classic Blend are a couple of the hottest cigars out there, along with the arrival of the sought after Black Market coming very soon! Miami Cigars has brought us the incredibly flavorful La Aurora 107, Rocky Patel sends us a bunch of his hand rolled happiness, including my fave, the Edge, and several of his Vintage Lines. Oliva’s specialty line known as Studio Tobac has delivered the triple ligero laced Cain and Cain F line, as well as the squat little powerhouse known 
simply as the NUB, with it’s different delicious wrappers. And while I’m not admittedly a lover of flavored smokes, Ted’s Cigars has brought us several infused beauties that really turned my head… the Makers Mark, Grand Marnier, and Hopz.
Now there’s one cigar maker who has captured the world by storm with his amazing talent for blending some of the most sought after brands in the world today. I’m referring to none other than Jose Pepin Garcia, most affectionately known as Don Pepin. With his brand spankin’ new My Father Factory in Estelli , Nicaragua, the old boy has increased production dramatically, and the quality is even better than before. He and his son Jaime are blending a bunch of savory sticks that I just can’t get enough of… The La Aroma de Cuba line, including the sensational Mi Amor… There’s the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial, (just outstanding), Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ (wickedly flavorful) the Classico Black Edition (Complex & full flavored) and the spicy and exquisite Don Pepin Garcia Blue! And of course, I can’t forget the My Father, created in secret by Jaime as a tribute to his dad, and My Father Le Bijou 1922. Freakin’ YUM all across the board, people!
And just when you thought you couldn’t get enough of the man know as Don Pep-eeeeeen, he also blends the sweet and full-bodied San Cristobal for Ashton, as well as the delicious new edition, the San Cristobal Elegancia, with its lighter wrapper, smoothing out the cigar giving it a whole new flavor profile.
Guys, I know I did the major league shill thing, here, today, but I am genuinely excited about all the new stuff on the JR website because it is all super premium, high quality great tobacco! I’ve smoked every one of the cigars I named and each one of ‘em, fills the countless humidors I have strewn around my abode (much to my wife’s displeasure… too bad.)
It’s just amazing that in a time when the Smoke Nazis, anti-smoking clods, and tax hammering governmental freaks continue to pound cigar lovers up the ash, the industry is putting out the best products ever made. And to that, I raise my robusto high, and say muchas gracias to the marvelous manufacturers of the cigar world!
